Project 8 - Process Blog Post 2

I'm starting to work more on shadows and making the light source clear. I am a bit worried that the ground is a bit too dark though. In real life, the carpet is a light beige, but I think I got carried away trying to make the shadows and emphasize the sun rays. I am going to try fixing that by mixing in more water overtop the paint and wipe away some of the pigment. I am a bit worried that my painting looks flat, but I'm hoping to add more dimension as I continue working on my project. I also need to decide what to put on the border of my painting. I'm thinking of putting apple slices, as my grandparents used to cut apples everyday and eat them in the morning.
