Project 8 - Process Blog Post 1

I'm really excited to be starting fresh! I like how I've already worked through some of the challenges and issues of this composition on the earlier version, which is making this project go by a bit faster. I've been referencing my old painting for colors and shadows. I'm still trying to figure out the lighting and where shadows should be. I'm concerned I might be going too fast and rushing some of the craft, especially because some of the colors feel to dark and contrasting in some areas. Also, the colors on the board game started to mix a bit and I need to go back and fix that. That's kind of my plan for the whole piece; just a wash of all the colors and then fixing the details afterwards. I might also go back with colored pencils too if I am unsatisfied with the watercolored details.
