Artist Copy Project Progress

These are images taken over the course of a few class periods and once after school. I started by drawing the grid lines, then the sketch, and now I am trying out my artist's marks. I'm still trying to learn how to hatch the way Raphael does, and it's a little tricky since I'm using pencil but the piece I am copying was done in pen and ink. I am also learning how much to space my hatch mark so it looks like the piece I'm copying.
