Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures of my painting earlier in the process, but this is the most recent picture I took. Overall, I'm liking the way the blending it turning out, I think the polarization between the sides is not too subtle. I feel like the purple looks too gray, however. This experience has taught me a lot about how to capture the human form with movement and less rigidity. I found it very helpful to over-exaggerate parts of the body and draw a line representing the form. I am not that good at figure drawing, so this practice was much needed!
